July has been a busy month painting and organising my new print collection. Regents Park as you can see had a strong red theme for mid summer.
Although the weather has not been too brilliant I have managed to find lots of Suffolk gardens to inspire me.
In June as lockdown started to ease I was able to visit delightful Sandringham gardens in Norfolk, England, and explore more Suffolk villages and gardens.
The charming red houses in many villages in Suffolk, commonly known as “Suffolk Pink”, were simply delightful.
This spring I found myself in beautiful Cambridgeshire and Suffolk when the pandemic erupted. In March I visited Cambridge, the Fitzwilliam Museum, and surrounding area including Anglesey Abbey in Lode.
In April and May while doing my necessary shopping along the way I stopped in a couple of villages…
In the autumn of 2019 I visited the Cotswolds, Stratford upon Avon, ruins of a Roman Villa near Cirencester, Lacock village and Abbey in Wiltshire.
In November I visited London and the Houses of Parliament.
In the summer of 2019 I spent time in Denmark and Finland.
