Our winter snow in Finland arrived again late December giving us a white Christmas. There have been a number of sunny days reminding me of how beautiful nature is here when covered in snow.
I found this little Christmas tree in the forest by the sea which someone had decorated. It was incredibly cold, minus 12 C when I took the other images. The sea scape pictures brought out the special light and blue gray colours as the dusk was setting late afternoon.
2020
My home country, Finland, is synonymous with snow and ice. It is part of the Finnish soul. Snow comes in many forms, producing countless magical scenes during our long winters.
The low sun and dark, lit nights provide wonderful background and atmosphere for photography.
